Jack has 5 years of experience within the site investigation and contaminated land industry and now works at Chelmer Site Investigations as a Senior Geo-environmental Engineer. Jack has designed and managed a wide variety of geotechnical and environmental site investigations and remediation projects, for both small and large scale sites, including gas works, historic landfills & industrial works valued up to £250,000.
Jack also has great experience with assisting in satisfying contaminated land planning conditions, from liaising with clients and building strong relationships with local authorities within London and the South East, to helping design investigations to suit the client’s needs and the council’s requirements.

Different sites require specific and often very varied site investigation techniques. This seminar will explore the different approaches to site investigations, detailing what the aims and objectives are; from planning requirements to assisting with foundation design, how the investigation is undertaken; explaining the uses of different investigation techniques, sampling and testing and the resulting interpretative reports. Case studies will be explored of varied sized sites.
