NATAS ASBESTOS:NUCLEAR LTD.

Max Lopacki is Managing Director of NATAS, which operates primarily within the asbestos management and nuclear decommissioning markets, providing training & eLearning, consultancy and UKAS accredited asbestos laboratory services. Max has over 30 years hands-on experience in the asbestos industry and formed the National Asbestos Training & Accreditation Scheme (NATAS) in 1996 which, in 1998, became the first independent dedicated asbestos training provider recognised by UK HSE. Max has been a key participant of the asbestos training providers working group, convened by the HSE to develop what are the current asbestos training standards in the UK. He is an active trainer and consultant and is engaged by several majors in the nuclear decommissioning sector, including Dounreay, Magnox, Harwell and Winfrith. Max enjoys travel and to experience new countries and cultures, he often manages to combine his passion for the asbestos industry with his passion for travel, by providing training and consultancy in many regions of the World.
