Oliver Smith has been at SMH since May 2012. In 2015, he was appointed as CEO of the SMH Group, having previously held consultancy positions and the CFO role. He is the current Chairman of the Federation of Decontamination Equipment Manufacturers (f-dem). Prior to joining SMH, he held senior roles in industry and worked for KPMG. He has served with both the British Army and the Royal Marines. In the Army, he was the project lead in developing a forward operations tactical SIGINT platform.
This talk will address the use of the Internet of Everything to provide real-time data on the performance of equipment, personnel, techniques and the integrity of an enclosure when carrying out asbestos stripping or similar mineral decontamination processes.
