What does resiliency mean to you and why is it important to your organisation?
Much like globalisation and urbanisation, the word ‘resilience’ is commonly used and fast becoming a buzzword for conveying general system performance. Global threats such as climate change, and a growing recognition that disasters in urban areas can impact millions of people and affect entire economic systems, are giving rise to more robust resilience planning. We will explore the current threats and look at the long-term resilience plans needed to make cities better places to live, work and play.
