Simon has an exciting career history, spanning over 30 years’. His career is full of real life work experience of managing safety in dangerous environments. Simon’s career started in the army, this was followed by a successful career in the Fire Service. He gained operational leadership experience as the youngest Station Officer in Greater Manchester Fire Service. On leaving the Fire Service, Simon founded the Ouch Training Team over 18 years ago. Simon is passionate about improving peoples’ skills and knowledge. Key to this is enhancing competency in an innovative, compelling and unique way. So far, Simon and his team have trained over 70,000 people throughout the UK. To date, over 3,500 business leaders now have the knowledge to improve the safety in their organisations’.
