Beth Humphrey

Beth Humphrey is carving out a career in Environmental Management with a focus currently in air quality. Having been awarded Distinction for her Masters, she began at the City of London Corporation developing communications and raising awareness of the issues surrounding air quality to the different stakeholder groups. Last year she took over management of the City Low Emission Neighbourhood (LEN), a 3-year project sponsored by the Mayor of London. The LEN piloted a series of initiatives in a focused location with the aim to promote the air quality improvement agenda, reduce emissions and encourage further understanding of air quality issues. With the project recently completed, she is now stepping into AQ policy.
Air Quality in the Square Mile, City of London
This year, the City of London’s new Air Quality Strategy will be published. This seminar provides an overview of the actions the City of London is taking to comply with air quality regulations, raise awareness of air quality related issues, and work collaboratively with businesses, organisations, universities to deliver improved air quality in the City year-on-year.
