Dan Williams, Chair of EIC's Air Quality Working Group

Johnson Matthey PLC

Dan Williams is the Chair of The Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) Air Quality Working Group which has driven much of the work towards a national framework for clean air zones and contributed to policy development and implementation of emissions regulation of Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM) for construction sites across London. As Regional Key Account Manager at Johnson Matthey PLC, Dan is responsible for the Heavy-Duty Diesel Non-Road Original Equipment and On-Road Retrofit businesses. The Johnson Matthey retrofit business provides cost effective solutions which not only reduce the harmful emissions of older, more polluting vehicles such as buses operating in cities, but extend their natural fleet life too. To date Johnson Matthey and development partners have provided NOX and PM abatement solutions to over 3,000 vehicles across Europe and other parts of the world; of which around 1,000 of these are operating on London buses.
