Goedele Verreydt

iFLUX

As inventor and key developer of the iFLUX technology, Dr. Goedele Verreydt spent last 8 years to optimize a flux sampler that fits market needs. As senior expert in the field of flux sampling of soil and groundwater contamination, she recognized the need of better monitoring techniques, specifically focusing on the added value of flux data for a wide variety of applications in environmental management, policy and study. The development and valorization of the iFLUX technology therefore was a perfect match after her PhD at VITO (Flemish Research Organisation) and the University of Antwerp.

Currently she is acting as Technical Director in the spin-off company iFLUX, based in Belgium, and executing “iFLUX monitoring projects” across Europe, in close cooperation with environmental consultant and site owners.

Intergrated Passive Flux Meaurement in Groundwater

The monitoring and management of groundwater flow is a challenge. iFLUX developed a groundwater monitoring solution to explore speed and direction of pollution flow underground over a certain period. Trustworthy flux results provide soil experts key insights to reduce the risk and uncertainty of soil contamination management.
During this seminar we will present the added value of using flux results at several existing reference cases.
