Adam is a Senior Associate in Reed Smith’s Energy and Natural Resources Group. He advises on a broad spectrum of UK and international environmental and regulatory matters.
Adam routinely advises on a range of regulatory compliance and operational issues, including soil and groundwater contamination, environmental permitting, trade effluent and water discharges, waste management and duty of care, flood and water management and producer responsibility obligations.
He has also assisted clients with UK- and EU-wide regulatory compliance initiatives and strategic projects in areas such as supply of substances, product safety and stewardship, brownfield redevelopment, waste disposal, site decommissioning and permit surrender in relation to manufacturing facilities, chemical and petrochemical plants, and waste facilities.
The lesser known contamination liability risks: lenders, directors and employees
Drawing on the speaker’s experience of advising a wide range of clients on contamination liability risks, this session will focus on the lesser known liability risks for lenders, directors and senior employees and current enforcement trends in this area.
